To keep issues like ear infections at bay your cat might need some help with anear cleaning because it’s difficult for them to groom themselves inside of their ears.
If there is some irritation or discharge of any sort, take your cat to the veterinarian. If it’s just some excess wax, dirt, or debris, talk to your vet and see if they recommend at-home ear cleaning for your cat. These at-home cleanings can actually be quite easy after some practice. How do you need to clean your pet’s ears?

Take a comfortable position for yourself and your pet.

Then gently pull the cat’s ear back and pour the ear cleaner in the ear. There should be enough solution to fill in the ear canal. The Sanocyn Ear Cleaner Solution is a perfect match for these issues. It is based on the hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which is very well tolerated by pets and suitable for daily use. Many of the conventional ear cleaners are oil-based and burn when applicated, which is not the case of the Sanocyn. The Ear Cleaner does not contain any alcohol, oil, and is pH-neutral. Thus, it does not sting and burn.

Use cotton balls, cotton makeup rounds, or even a tissue (but do not use cotton swabs as it is dangerous for their eardrums) to massage the inside of your cat’s ears thoroughly in order to let the solution work.
4.
Gently wipe out the excess liquid and dirt out of the ear canal.
5.
Repeat with the other pet’s ear.
